People generally fall into two categories – those who view life as a glass half empty and those who view life as a glass half full. Which one are you?
Glass half empty people tend to be more negative, pessimistic and feel dissatisfied with life in general. Glass half full people, on the other hand, are more optimistic and positive and are happier with life in general.
We hear this glass half empty/glass half full talk all the time and now I would like to put to you a shocking proposition – what if your glass was full to overflowing?

We can take this concept one step further and consider that if you have the expectation that your life will always be a glass full to overflowing with joy and fulfillment, you have a pretty good chance of getting just that!
As we grow up, we absorb the beliefs and expectations of our parents and significant others. If we live with glass half empty (or even completely empty) people, then that will become our belief system too. Remember when you bought your last new car? Wasn’t it amazing that the roads were suddenly full of identical cars to yours and that you’d never noticed them before? Did there suddenly appear a whole fleet of similar cars to yours? Of course not, they had always been there but you didn’t notice them when you weren’t focused on them.
This is exactly what happens in your life when you focus on a life overflowing with abundance. As soon as you change your focus and expectations, your life will change as well.
Therefore, if you can focus on anything at all (and you can), why not focus on the good, happy and positive things in life? Hang out only with people who are happy and positive and that will help you be happy and positive too.
