There is absolutely no point in anticipating the worst because that will increase the likelihood of the worst occurring. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy of doom, gloom and misery. Over time, it starts to feel as though you are in a deep pit of struggle, trouble and
strife and it can seem that it’s impossible to climb out of your pit.
