If the universe doesn’t know what you want, it cannot give it to you. It’s that simple.
If there is something you desire desperately and you keep it deep inside, how can
anyone possibly know what it is you want.
You must set very clear intentions on the direction you wish your life to take and
then…you must take action. When these two steps are in place, the universe will
support you every step of the way. That’s right…
Now, when you are setting your intention, I find it works best when you say it out
loud rather than just think about what you want. State the intention clearly and
concisely. For example,” I want a 2011 black Saab convertible” is a very exact
description of a specific car you may be wanting. That leaves no doubt about your
intention and sends a clear message to the universe.
Then, as your action step, you could go and visit a Saab dealership and look at the
black convertible models, take one for a test drive and confirm that this is, indeed,
Then, in the mindset of already having the car, you carry on with your life – you will
be amazed at what happens next, seriously.
Intention (followed by action) is everything in life. When there is no intention and
associated action, stagnation is the result. Where there is stagnation, there is a
wasted life. With intention and action, things happen. Life becomes vibrant,
rewarding and interesting.
Years ago, my son wanted to buy a new drum kit. He was only 13 years old and even
though this was to be his second kit, he was not at all sure of what he was looking
for, other than it had to be a good drum kit, vastly better than the one he already had.
I had even less idea of what he needed than he did and as I was a single parent at
the time, there was no one else to ask.
What to do? How to ensure we did not get ripped off or sold a dud? My son was buying
this kit with his own money, saved from birthday and Xmas money over a few
years so it was vital he got the best kit he could afford. He already knew he was
going to be a musician so it had to be a good instrument that would still be able
to be played as his skill levels improved over the years.
I set a very clear intention – that we would get a sales person who was interested in
genuinely helping us get the best deal, that this sales person would give as much
as possible for the money plus extra and that my son would get a brilliant drum kit
that he would use and enjoy for many years to come.
So, telling the Universe exactly what was required (please), we set off. The result of
this clear intention setting was a fantastic kit that he still owns today (more than
16 years later) and which is still used in his career as a professional percussionist.
This can happen for you too, when you set that clear intention.
It doesn’t have to be about material things, it can also be used to find the perfect
life partner or anything else you need or want in your life. If you don’t know what it
is that you want, Life Coaching can help.
